Das-Studio undertook a feasibility and preliminary discussions with the City of Charles Sturt to explore the potential of creating two torrens titled dwellings on an existing single dwelling site.
Whilst there were no issues with the proposed design for the site from a building form viewpoint, the position of an existing significant pine tree ultimately meant that the project was not viable.
The design featured a series of masonry blades to the lower level to allow for opportunities to access external areas from living spaces as well as natural light.
The upper level forms cantilevered precariously atop the masonry base and featured three bedrooms and breakout spaces.
